Percentage pass = what grade

Does anyone know what percentage you have to achieve at GCSE level to get which grade?

Someone more knowledgeable will probably correct me but it depends on the subject and also think that it changes year on year depending on the content of the paper.

So no help to you really

True but a rough quide = 80% A*, 70% A, 60% B etc

I could easily be completely wrong!
Problem is as you say, it varies per subject, exam board, skill area, performance of each cohort...
Why do you ask anyway wangle?

Just a curiosity thing, my brother has just sat his GCSE's and currently waiting for results and was discussing with my mother about how much you had to get right. Figured someone on Mumsnet would know!
