I wasn't involved, but I understand our PTA applied unsuccessfully.

Will ask.

Do you have people at school who work for the major banks as they have corporate responsibility schemes and donate money to schools in all sorts of ways. Barclays do £ for £ so if a Barclays staff works on our stall for just a short time at the school fair Barclays will donate again whatever we make on that stall. Another bank, could be Natwest, are sending in a team of people to paint our fencing.

You might already know all that but just thought I'd say!

Will ask about Woolies tho and get back to you.

Gobbledigook · 14/07/2006 22:52

Evesmama - just ask any parents that work for the big banks to ask at work about it.

Thanks guys. First question do you have to hand write the application? I cannot find it online and with my writing and spelling I was going to type it and cup and paste.

How much work did your kids put into the application. How much did you include and if you were successful what do you put it down to?

I assume you'll have already looked at Awards for All lottery funding?

drosophila · 15/07/2006 19:25

We are looking at awards for all but haven't done application yet. The deadline for this one is 21st july
