Hi, we are on the waiting list for this school however our DC is settled at the private school we opted for after missing out on a reception place at Belleville.
DC is nearing the top of the waiting list and will likely be offered in year 2.
We can't comfortably afford private, yet having started in the private system I'm now worried about moving to state. What do other families make of it who have young DC attending? Are there any other families who have left private to go there? (I know our situation is a common one in Clapham).
Is private tutoring commonplace to supplement? Especially in year 6 for private secondary?
