School interview for 11+ at Halliford School

Can anyone share their experience of sitting in on the interview with their son for Year 7 into Halliford ?

Yes I can share experience. I was asked to remain quiet while Mr Cottam interviewed my son for about 15 minutes. Mr Cottam's office is quite formal and it was quite a formal interview process, which was an interesting contrast to the friendly, family ethos perpetrated by the school. Nonetheless, the questions were fairly straightforward ones you'd expect at such an interview and Mr Cottam was friendly enough (talked a bit fast though). My son then went downstairs to sit with Mr Cottam's assistant while Mr Cottam talked with me for about 15 minutes, to get further perspective and insight into some of the answers my son had given. I don't know if our experience is typical, but there's at least one example to guide you, in case you've not yet had your interview.
