Travelling to Queen Mary's High School from Solihull

Does anyone travel to queen Mary's high school from Solihull area. Green bus stop starts from Harborn which is quite far from Solihull.

Not sure why would want to travel to QM from Solihull. At rush hour, i can only imagine the journey will be horrendous (well over an hour without traffic accidents). What is the reason for wanting a school so far away? I don't kow anyone who travels to QM from Solihull/ Warwickshire. I do know people who have sent their DCs to schools in Edgbaston and the travel seriously restricts their ability to take part in out of school activities. Plus their school friends are all miles away. My one friend really regretted taking DC so far to school and just moved DC back to local school. Another moved to Harborne because of travel/social life issues. There are some excellent schools in Solihull both comprehensive and private. Have you looked at these?
