Putting on a community play, however first time I've done it, starting from scratch any suggestions of what props I will need... I have the scripts and music and a vague idea of a cast of kids, but I seem to have drawn a blank on props! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Depends how elaborate and traditional you want to be. I'd have thought that a manger, baby Jesus, three beautifully wrapped presents and some tinsel (for halos) and wings would be your basic kit out

Something to show where the stable is - floor mat, cardboard stable "frame" cut-out etc.

What's the building / stage like? Will they need sandals or could they get away with bare feet?

Thanks :) In fairness I want a sort of mix of tradition and maybe some other quirky twists all ideas are welcome!

It's a village hall and there's a set from before that's beyond my doing (includes a stable set!)
