Mad

Ous have moved the sports days to first thing in the morning but on thursday it is the school carnival at 1.30 , they are all supposed to parade round and round school field and then do a performance each and whole thing goes on until 4.30 on a field with no shade.

charliecat · 04/07/2006 17:01

Yep, sounds the same sort of school as ours...on thursday its the infants sports day (today was the juniors) Bet they let it go ahead in scorching heat.

charliecat · 04/07/2006 17:08

No, but I know someone whos doing it right now...the house im in now was a dog shit smeared mess that SMELT when you walked near it...they had evicted the previous tenant...they knew I paid my rent, had never caused bother etc and so moved me here wedged in a road of bought houses....why are you thinking of exchanging?

Ahhh i see.

We have been considering it yeah as we could technically downsize to a 3 bed. I like where we live but wouldn't say no to somewhere closer to the see or more rural etc.

nutcracker · 04/07/2006 17:11

Sea not see

charliecat · 04/07/2006 17:12

Oh right, I love it where I live..2 mins away from forest/ponds/rocks...4 mins to countryside pick your own 10 mins to town...lovely walk there...45 mins to seaside..I could go on forever

Blimey they are nuts.

There are some mad people on the sites I've been on that are requesting areas in Birmingham that I wouldn't let a dog live in, they are nuts.

There are loads of people that want to move by the sea so i'd be lucky to get one of those I think.

tinyFox · 04/07/2006 17:17

WellKnownMemorablePeachyClair · 04/07/2006 17:25

they cancelled ours for weather concerns when there was no bad weather warnings and moed to a day when it rained, coz the PTA lady clicked on the wrong area on teletet.

Beetroot · 05/07/2006 15:57

they didnt cancel ours today while it was pissing down

Blandmum · 05/07/2006 17:21

CC, I think there is a bit of a difference in kids being out in the sun for , say 50 minutes, and a more extended period for sports day.

We cancelled ours, but we would all have been out from 9.10 to 3.00 a bit of a difference.
