Hi Lemnan did your son study in Keble? We are looking for 4+ entry to Keble as well but hardly any reviews on mumsnet. Could you please provide some feedback please?

I think it depends on what you want for secondary. We looked at it for our son but chose against it. It's not selective and doesn't feed many boys to the more academic secondaries like Highgate etc. If boarding is an option at 13+ it may well suit. If you want a. Academic london day school at secondary you'd be better off going for one of the pre-preps and bracing yourself for the 7+.

Thanks @FraggleRockHopper - We decided against Keble as well exactly for the same reasons. Currently considering between Falcon Boys in West London and St Johns Wood Prep in North London - both pre prep schools till 7+. Would love to know if you have suggestions for more schools (within 6k range for termly fees) and if we can consider them.

Are you moving for the school? You seem to have a pretty wide range in distance and personally I think commute time matters a lot at that age. Others to consider would The Avenue in Highgate, Annemount in HGS (if you can stomach the head) and Hampstead Hill.

Thanks do you have an opinion on St John's Wood Prep? We'll definitely move to North London if it works out.
