Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section.
My Dd is doing a budget for her school. She wants to know roughly how much a school get per pupil (primary age) ? Home counties.
She has 16 pupils. Also she is allowing for teaching staff salary, heating, electricity, school dinners, equipment and books. They don't have a caretaker or dinner ladies the children all do that themselves.
Any other major costs? Thank you!

Insurance and fire extinguishers while they are cooking their dinners.

If you go to www.education.gov.uk/schools/performance/ you can look up the actual figure for your daughter's school and even get a rough breakdown of how the money is spent.

Thank you for making me laugh. She had rethought this and now the nursery teaching assistant has to do the lunches as well

At DD's version of this school, you would need to have the best buildings' insurance and personal liability insurance you could afford. There are always floods or earthquakes or volcanoes or kidnappings etc. I blame it on the Chalet School stories personally!

Are the toliets still outside? With a complete lack pf privacy?
I think you need to factor in the cost of adding walls and a roof to the loos!

At our version there is weird rampaging animal that comes and takes children and then amputates theirs hands and feet if you don't shut the bedroom door.
I still wonder why the only thing the dogs has ever chewed is sylvanians.
