St Anthony's School Hampstead- info please:)

My DS has been offered a place for reception in St Anthony's. i understand that the school hours for reception are 9am to 3.15pm, but my questions are what are the school hours for the older boys? how many days a week is there sports? and with after school clubs what time does the school day end typically?

Ricola, sorry nobody has come back to you, I m taking my son next week to visit the school there so will ask the same questions and let you know.
Is your DS starting reception In Sept 13 ? What was the assessment like ? We are applying for next year, 2014. Provided we like the school !

We're moving to Hampstead from America in the summer 2016.
I'm hoping my sons aged 7 and 5 will get a place at St Anthony's School or Heathside Prep. Both sons are bright and laid back, quite sporty. Can anyone tell me anything about either school? I am feeing pretty overwhelmed about the move.

I don't know Heathside but have seen St Anthony's and was very impressed. The head was really inspiring and I came out filled with enthusiasm for the school.

You could also try our MN Local site for Camden, which has a talk board where you can ask locals for advice & recommendations, plus thousands of listings including a What's On guide and local schools, where Mumsnetters can add their reviews local.mumsnet.com/camden

St Anthonys has extra clubs from Year 3 onwards only. Generally older ones finish at around 4.00. The school is very nurturing and caring especially in the early years. If anyone would like more info feel free to email on [email protected]

Sorry just realised you asked about after school clubs...probably finish is around 5.00 depending on what clubs you are taking.
