Anyone know how long from interview to letter? I'm thinking we'll hear pretty quickly.

DS2 did it four years ago and I think we heard within 10 days.

OK, it's here. Small envelope, clearly posted the morning after the interview.

DS out playing cricket until 3ish.

Should I steam it open? It's addressed to him...

God I'd be sooo tempted to steam but I wouldn't. I think I'd have to leave the house though and find something to do until he's home.

Actually had to leave the house and go to supermarket to avoid temptation...

Well, he came back and then TOOK IT UPSTAIRS TO OPEN!

5 mins later came wandering down. Me: What did it say, Kingscoteboy?
Him: What?

Me: The letter!

Him: Oh, that. They want me, I think. What's for tea?

Cue mad dash up the stairs by both parents. Very nice personalised letter, Main List offer. Thank the good lord for that. And not even I can start stressing about common entrance results yet!
