I have heard that some TAs are being made redundant. Anyone noticed any changes yet?

I know our school is struggling because, unlike some other local schools I won't mention, we are willing to take SEN pupils half way through the school year, if asked and if we are the right school for them. Once the budget is already set, we have to find £6k for each one.

Our school will lose well over £100k a year. I think the next year will be ok, because the head is good at budgeting, but the year after that will be a real struggle.

Not being made redundant but every single TA is our school are having their hours cut and it seems to be a similar case in other local schools.
