Homework help! Can you think of a pun?

DD(7yo) has to think of some puns for her homework and explain their meanings!

Now I know what a pun is - and frequently use them in RL but now I cannot for the life of me think of any suitable for a 7yo's homework!

Fish 'n Chips

One day while driving in a thunderstorm, a man got a flat tire outside a monastery. A monk came out and invited him inside to have dinner and spend the night. The motorist accepted.

That night he had a wonderful dinner of fish and chips. He decided to compliment the chef. Entering the kitchen, he asked the cook, "Are you the fish friar?" "No," the man replied, "I'm the chip monk."

Old King Cole was very fond of the new cabbage salad his chef invented. In fact, he wanted the whole kingdom to share in his pleasure. Therefore, he sent out a decree that whenever anyone ate cabbage, it must be shredded and mixed with mayonnaise and bits of carrots. This is known today as Cole's Law.
