Pen pals

Hi am trying to encourage dd to practise more writing, she's pretty creative but loathe to sit and put pen to paper. Thought sending and receiving letters might work well.

Can anyone recommend a good place to look for a penpal? She's 10 home and international welcomed.

If there's not a central site you know of perhaps your dc would like a penpal? Especially interested in non UK but English speaking for a bit of cultural exchange

I can ask DD2 for you if you like - she already has quite a few penpals (and I really need to remind her to catch up on her post!) but she does enjoy writing letters when I remember to remind her. We're in Austria but she can write quite well in English, and letter-writing is good practice for her. She's 8, btw.
