Free school

Is it possible to open a free school in Scotland? Everywhere I search it seems to only give information for England & Wales

Education is a devolved matter.

So in Scotland whether such a thing as a free school is possible would be a decision of the Scottish Parliament. I suspect the answer is "no" but you would need to check with the Scots Minister for Education.
