113/111 are well towards upper end of average/good but not exceptionally so. Depends on the level of competition as to whether it was good enough on the day though. Can you not ask her current schools, often the technicalities to decode are there but not the sense of context and comprehension . Ask questions about what she has read - the characters, meanings of new vocabulary , why events happened , what might have happened if , continue the story etc

Thanks Lizs, I taught her some new vocabulary, explained and asked her to make a sentence by herself. But after few weeks times, she easily to forget those. My mother tongue is not English, so we normally communicate with our own language. Do u this is that the main problem? What good story books will u recommend for her age?? Thanks for ur advice :-)

It is more a case of reading widely, go to the library and choose whatever takes her fancy. What level is she reading at school and find similar. No point teaching words in isolation , she needs them reinforced by context.

Being bilingual has lots of advantages, but teachers at our school always encourage bilingual parents to concentrate on English as children reach year 3/4....and lots and lots of reading in English. It really makes a difference.

What do you mean by can't get her place in school?

111: 77th percentile
113: 81st percentile
127: 96th percentile
129: 97th percentile

So the English/reading puts her at about 1 in 4. This is based on the whole population, so would probably put her in the top half at her school, absolutely fine, but yes room to improve.

Maths and non-VR scores are more like 'best in class' level (but not best in school).

At 7 these scores shouldn't raise any alarm bells, unless you want to get into a super-selective school next year? For 11+ they would get into most schools but maybe not the very top ones. However, that's still 3 years ahead so no need to worry at all.

I'm assuming it is a selective private prep and she didn't make the cut at 7+ assessment. On another day , in another school she'd probably be fine.

Thanks Lizs and KateShrub. Yes, this result is from private prep. The result shown that she not in the top girls group(125+). :(

I'm worry for her 11+ now, because is high competition environment now.
