Faith/free schools

There is a private Christian school fairly close to me that has a narrowed faith-based curriculum. For example, pupils are not allowed internet access and subjects such as biology are restricted to the areas that do not conflict with creationism.

It is apparently now trying to convert to a free school, presumably so it can receive state funding. I don't know if they will be successful as I know there are some rules to curb the more extreme views.

But I think all schools should broadly follow the national curriculum and faith should not be used to restrict children's lives.

So what, if any, do you think are the limits to parental choice?
