For the first time last Sept, I tagged a lot of the dc's uniform with Taggits (those plastic snapper things for anyone who isn't familiar). I was feeling very pleased with myself at having saved literally hours of time sewing on name tapes but am feeling a lot less pleased now that I see how many of them have come off completely. i have just folded a set of PE kit which doesn't have a single label left, apart from the one which was sewn in on a hand-me-down pair of trackie bottoms. I think most of the labels have come off at school rather than in the laundry but am going to have to dig out the sewing kit if we are not to be minus many ties, sports socks, jumpers and the like by the end of the year. Not happy!
Have I done something wrong or is this a known problem?
