Exclusion and school records

Ds has been excluded. The letter sent did not include the part giving us our right to view his school records so I have now requested these. As there is a right to obtain these records following exclusion is there a charge for this information?

Parents have a right to see school records at any time, not just after an exclusion. If you want copies, the school has a right to charge for them up to a limited extent. More information on the Information Commissioner's website.
