Home Education - Anyone ?

My DD is getting less and less motivated in her state school and i can't afford to send all three privately so am considering home education with a tutor 3 times per week.
Has anyone else done this and then returned to school sucessfully, I would prefer them to attend secoundary school given a choice.

Hello, we are currently home edding DS.
He is 9 and has Asperger Syndrome.
We were paying for a private tutor but tbh all she did with him was what we are, working from books that you can buy in WHSmith.

Its hard work and you have to have a lot of patience but its worth it, DS is coming on in leaps and bounds and we are not sure that we will be sending him back to school when his reintegration programme starts next month.
