Popsy - that's OK. I hate the word too, but too tired this evening to construct a longer explanatory phrase.

Thanks Popsy.

DD has had a note in her reading book and a copy of some 'stage 2 keywords' (e.g. Pulled, Everyone, Cross ) to name 3. I'm thinking now that 'stage 2 keywords' is diff from Key Stage 2...yes?

Anyway a while back, someone on here once guided me to a link listing words for Key stage1 \link{http://www.fairlands.herts.sch.uk/staff_docs/curriculumtools/key_stage_1_key_words_reception.htm\here} and I wondered if there was something similar for KS2.

I would hve thought stage 2 would be refering to something different to KS2.....it may refer to a particular series of books they read...which may have key words connected to it?

Could that be possible?

I think you're right - thanks.

feistybird those sound like words which recur in Oxford Reading Tree stage 2 books. dd gets a tin of about 5 each week to learn in anticipation of the next books.
