Sherborne Prep

We are considering this school for ds in year 3. I did speak to someone at the school and am keen to look around but just wondered if someone had any pros or cons to the school that they would like to share.

I think they do activites on Saturday mornings but it is optional. They are able to use the facilities of Sherborne boys/girls school which is a real plus.

Sherborne Prep School seemed like the wrong choice for ours. Low numbers and recently taken over by the boys school. Wasn’t keen on the new headmistress and we hear it’s really struggling. Whole place feels a bit cheap and run down. Preferred the atmosphere of Hazlegrove, Sandroyd and Port Regis. There are some good primary schools in the area too.
