I'm looking into CMS near Yorkshire to send my son (5). The school looks great, but I was wondering if anyone on MUmsnet know/has any experience of the school? Any info would be gratefully recieved! (We're due to have a look around just before Christmas).

My friends children went there. They were very happy.

It is not an academically selective school (her DD has dyslexia) but a very nice caring ethos. And she got to take her pony. That's all I know I'm afraid.

It's an okay school. Used to be all girls, now co ed. Now goes up to 16. Has had to have a new Head.

Urm. It's okay! Doing well, but nothing exciting! There are much 'better' schools out there, but it entirely depends what sort of school you are looking for?

CMS is a co-ed, non-selective school to 16. I have 2 children both girls at the school and they are very happy. It used to be a prep school which has recently extended up to 16. I think it started life as a boys prep school and you definately cant take your pony. It does sport and outdoor pursuits really well and offers wide range of trips. CMS has a lovely atmosphere and my 2 are really being nurtured there.
