ds got letter home with mark from first part of science gcse
(separate)
said what they got in last year first part of exam part taken and said you can apply to re take if you want (with the level break down mark)
a star was 88 % i think and ds got 84 on 2 subjects and 86 on another
i said do you want to re take as you are so close to the a star boundary?
he said no - because if doesnt believe in revising and wouldn't for a re take so would get the same mark!
aaarrrggghhh !

he actually said(which i do agree with) that gcse marks Dont really matter, its what you do after this that is important.
i tried to explain about learning HOW to study and revise and its importance but
deaf ears!

So there is some hope for his A'level results.

Hopefully he will revise his belief in revising. If that makes sense!

doubt it unfortunately but there must always be hope!
