We moved from Birmingham to a little village called Tickhill last year. My daughter has just started Y6 and today I have had her secondary school application form delivered! I really was not expecting so soon as my understanding that I would attend school open evenings etc to view local secondary schools prior to making a choice that I feel is best for my daughter.
The feeder school for Tickhill is Sir Thomas Warton, however I also hear Hayfield and Hall Cross are good schools.
Im looking into OFSTEAD reports as we speak but to hear real mum's feedback is worth its weight in gold.
Any advice will be much appreciated
