Do schools open on Bank Holidays?

Just realised I haven't a clue whether they do or not, and am bound to get it wrong! Ds is at state primary school.

That's what I was hoping! Am just thinking ahead to May Bank holiday before anyone starts panicking about upcoming BHs!

No they don't. The pupils and teachers get Bank Holidays off.
