Chance entry exams y5

Hi. My Dd has the oppotunity to do an assessment for a chance y5 place. Gas anyone done this? I can't get a straight answer on what to expect - harder than the 7+ and easier than the 11+ obviously. But - writing a story, or comprehension or... Help!

Maths , possibly with a mental maths element, VR and NVR . Most shcoosl woudl tell you what is involved and how formal. Bonds books will give you an idea of level and format but do look at the year ahead papers too.

A chance place has come up - ie, a pupil is leaving. So everyone on the waiting list can test for it.

Kings/KCS Wimbledon helpfully has 9plus and 10plus admissions exams papers on its website that might give you a guide although do be warned it is a very academic school. Otherwise City of London Boys, Emanuel, SW11 and Whitgift have 10plus exam papers on their websites.
