Farnham - edgeborough, barfield or rowledge?

Anyone got any insight into the schools above? I've been to visit edgeborough, which seems to have great facilities and good teaching and a traditional public school feel, as well as barfield, which seems to have a lovely outdoorsy approach but looks possibly a little less polished... Rowledge also has a good reputation but not sure how it compares. All have good isi or ofsted reports. I'm tearing my hair out trying to decide what's the best approach for my boy and girl (one year age difference) and would welcome views from anyone who knows of or has experience of them. One consideration is the 'school gate' - I want a friendly school where the parents get to know other parents so playdates etc are easier - any views? Thanks!

Well, Rowledge has a good reputation and would be free, which is always a bonus! People seem to like Edgeborough, and it has a lovely location. I am not sure about Barfield, as I know nothing about it.
I assume you are talking infant school? At junior school level, Waverley Abbey and South Farnham are also popular and very successful. South Farnham is generally top of the league tables nationally.

South Farnham has very good results, but appear to be very pushy and only test orientated. Our registrar moved her child from there to us and we have also had others join us in Yr 5/6 whose parents don't want their children in an exam factory for the end of their primary schooling.

To the OP, have you been to visit the 3 schools you mentioned, or just looked at their marketing material?
