World book day.....what are your children dressing up as?

DD1 Somebody from the sleepover club
DD2 Snow white
DD3 Belle

ds1 wants to be the pilot from his "Catch that Plane" book.

A mermaid - because it happens to be a costume I have. And her school is doing poems only, so she's taking in Tennyson's The Mermaid, even though she thinks it's boring. Pragmatism rules. (Mind you, she had heard of Tennyson, thanks to Horrible Histories' Vile Victorians.)

DD is going as the White Witch of Narnia. It's not that original so I expect there will be a lot of white witches!

DD went as the fish from Cat in the Hat.
