Do you mean school exams? (as opposed to voluntary things like Ballet) No I'm not in favour at all.

LIZS · 24/02/2006 17:08

ds has had tests, but no revision or special work required, and it really isn't a big deal. Any particular type of exams in mind

Dear, move to Ireland, no exams for under 15s. Only little tests. And lots of spelling and grammar and good stuff like that!

mumeeee · 25/02/2006 15:48

Do you mean SATs? I don't agree with these and they were stpoped in Wales a few years ago.

notasheep · 25/02/2006 16:20

We are in Wales-lots of home educating here.
Exams at that age are a waste of time.

I just ask my dd questions which gives an idea of whether she has learnt anything!

jenniferjuniper · 25/02/2006 16:25

dont agree with them .Think 7 is far too young for exam pressure
