Hi
as the title suggests can anyone tell me where, online, I can obtain past papers on this subject. This is for me, not my children, as for some unknown reason I am taking this at night school this year and thought I had better have a look at what's going to be expected of this poor frazzled old brain!! Any help would be gratefully received.

Bump

What board are you taking?
Without knowing the board it can be a waste of time to look up papres....different boards cover different things!

Just checked, it's AQA. I found a past paper on their site too, but thanks for your help anyway!

BTW, I am a Biology teacher....so if you get stuck on something, just post a question

Thank you sooooo much. I am feeling decidedly thick at the moment and don't know why I am doing this course, but never mind. We are doing enzymes at the moment, have just done the catalase experiment and I am writing up my course work and trying to humanise it. Thanks again for all your support.

If I can help, just post.

Key things to keep in mind with enzymes, optimum temperature (human ones body temperature), optimum pH....which will vary from enzyme to enzyme, they speed up the rate of reaction while remaining unchanged themselves. The reaction would happen, but would take too long to support life
