St Michael's Otford too far?

I would like to send my DDs to st Michael's Prep Otford, but I am concerned that we live too far away. We are on the south side of Sevenoaks so it takes at least 20 mins to get there if not a bit more. I'm just concerned that their class mates will live too far from us for it to be practical. Sevenoaks prep amount others would be closer but I like St Michael's.
I'd appreciate your thoughts on the distance and experiences of St Michaels or other prep schools in the area.

I'm going to initially drive my DS 20/25mins to school and when he is big enough drive him 5mins to a school bus stop and put him on a 15/20min bus ride. I don't think it's too much for the right school.

I lived an hour away from my best friend at school as we each lived 30mins away in different directions. We couldn't see each other all the time after school but it worked out fine and we are still close now. As it happens we live about an hour apart now too albeit in a totally different part of the country. We chat most days via facebook and I think if instant messaging had been available when we were kids we would have used it then too.
