Anyone know a good comedy sketch

that Ds1 (11) could perform at his end of year 6 talent show/revue ? Preferably just two or three performers. Can't find anything suitable on the net at all. He is struggling a bit atm as his best friend ( and fellow performer) has found a new friend and decided to perform with him instead. DS is gutted but keen to compete continue to take part. He's good at drama but his other friends are all quite shy and will need to be persuaded to take part.
TIA

love the Mitchell and Web Nazi sketch - . I think it's probably ok for 11 year olds - haven't watched it all through lately, so do double-check!

What about Fork 'Andles by The Two Ronnies?

mumat39 · 04/06/2012 00:53

Definitely fork handles :)

What about Gerald the gorilla from Not the 9 O Clock News? Can't remember if there's swearing in it but don't think so.

"Wild? I was livid!"

Kevin and perry (ESP when Kevin becomes a teenager and changes overnight?

indignatio · 06/06/2012 19:23

I'm all for fork handles - but there is another two ronnies sketch re apples, blackberries and other electronic devices - which may be more up to date. I'm sure it is available on youtube as I think my father sent it to me!

PS Hi Spil - how are you and your dreamer?

IHeartKingThistle · 06/06/2012 22:29

Yay to that Kevin one - perfect

sphil · 07/06/2012 09:21

I think either the blackberry one or the Kevin one could be great - teenager sketch particularly appropriate for DS's year group, who seem to be enveloped in a cloud of hormones even though they're only 11!

Hi Indignatio - we are fine thanks. Dreamer is slightly less dreamy - has come on leaps and bounds academically this year. Combination of various factors - good teacher, 1:1 swimming lessons which have really helped coordination/reflexes, discovering a talent for Drama (hence this thread), the Apples and Pears spelling programme, Vegepa fish oil capsules and using a propelling pencil!!Grin. How is mini- Indignatio?

Hi Spil

Mini-I is great. He is slightly more focused at times. Still doesn't take in instructions the first time. Academically doing fine (I have a thread running re to tutor or not for secondary school - so that is where we are at). He loves his music and has started a second instrument - that really helps. He has finally found a sport which he enjoys and so tries hard and you would not believe the bike stunts he now regularly performs - for a boy that did not learn how to ride until he was 8.

Let us know which sketch your DS chooses.

sphil · 07/06/2012 20:21

He is much more taken with Kevin than blackberry so think he will choose that. We're still not sure what form this end of term show will take exactly, so I've advised him to wait until he knows before practising anything. Hasn't stopped relentless Kevin impersonations today though...

Pleased to hear Mini- I doing well. DS still hasn't mastered the bike, but now proficient on a scooter, which will help when we try again in the summer.

The Kevin sketch is great - I regularly impersonate Kevin when DS is being stroppy - always makes him laugh.
