I know this is going to sound like a stupid question. But my eldest son has decided (very late in the day) that he would like to go to university this Autumn. We have managed to get a couple of offers and he has completed his part of the student loan application, but I know there is a part I have to complete as a parent but I can't find it. I know the deadline is rapidly approaching. Please help.

There's a link that says 'if you are supporting an application' somewhere on the login page.

I'd give them a call if you still struggle - they were really helpful to me when I called on Saturday.

His chosen university probably has an advice service that can help with stuff like this - maybe have a look on the Internet for a phone number?

Don't worry if you've missed the 31st- you'll still get the money, it'll just be late, that's all, or you might even get it on time.

I've just got mine in, just before the deadline.
And yeah, they're incredibly helpful when you call.
