Hello

So after much searching we think we have settled on Orwell for our DS who is currently in Year4. He had dyslexia and we think that the support he will receive will be better there.

If you have any views on Orwell, good or bad please can you share?

Thank you.

I thought I'd drop you a line as you haven't had a response. I didn't go to Orwell Park but knew lots of people who did and spent a lot of time there as a teenager (school events etc.). The school has a lovely feel - very close knit - almost like a family. However, as someone who moved school a lot and didn't have SEN I know adjustment will be hard therefore I have to get you to question - how will it be for your son having to leave the cosiness of Orwell to move to a larger school for GCSEs and adjust to a new support system for his dyslexia. It may seem a long way off but it is something to bare in mind.
