Kids school is so great

We are still not in half term, but dd has been off school for three days (post a fit that landed us in hospital). Ds was diagnosed with shingles on Monday.

The school got the kids to make dd get well cards, she had a get well card from her form tutor, the head phoned up to see how she was. Ds's teacher has sent a folder of colouring in, 'fun' work sheets, 7 books and a note to say 'get well soon and only use the stuff if he feels up to it'

Their school sounds great MB. It's so nice to hear some positive feedback about teachers isn't it! It doesn't sound like a lot of fun in your house at the moment - how is dd?

dd is fine, and in fact went back to school today.

She got a get well card from her cello teacher today!

Ds and I spent part of the morning reading, doing 'take aways' and some writing. It was rather fun. But has confirmed that I could never home ed!
