Do you get any help when at college when u are a single parent

Hi there I am currently a carer but goin to college to study early education and childcare but I'm a single parent with house and bills hehe does anyone know what sort of help I can get whilst at college like rent etc

It depends on the type of qualification, whether you study part or full time and your own income.
Your college should have an advice centre that can help - they'll also be the best people to help with specific bursaries and hardship payments.

Probably best as there's never an easy answer! I'd ring them first in case they need proof of anything bringing to the appointment.
The lone parent advisers at the JC can be helpful too - but less use on student payments I've found.
