Half term/May 2006 ???

Could someone please give me the exact dates of half term school holidays in May?

29th May - 2nd June (well at ds's school)

AFAIK, our school is off from the Monday 3rd April and we go back on Tuesday 18th April.

I should have read that properly shouldn't have I?

The May one usually runs over the last bank holiday in May so Debbiethemum is right.

thank u...that's what I thought...one of Mark Warner staff told me it was from 24th to 29th of May when I inquired for Lakitira in Greece...

Check on your local county website to be sure. They do vary.

I THINK WE SHOULD HAVE A WEEK IN MAY HALF Term school holiday.
We should have longer in winter
SO PARENTS don,t have to take children to school when it bad whether.

Ours break up on 26th May and go back on 12h June, but we're unusual in having a 2-week half term in the summer term (rubbish for me, as it always coincides with our exam period, which means we can't go anywhere )

Here they break up on 26th May and go back on 12th June - 2 weeks.

Disagree with dear - it's easier to have them off school in the summer as they can play out. Hellish in winter I find.

Have they reduced the 6 weeks for the summer holidaysdown to 4 weeks? Our school were thinking of doing that but nothing has been decided yet.

Hi Kid if work in school where their is open field.
And IN winter i very cold out in play groud you not alway keep children doors.

I know that you like summer time don,t think 6 half weeks are too long and we same have more in summer time.
And we don,t Same have lot holiday in winter time.
We need more holiday in winter because lot of children Parient Feel cold as much as children.
The little children feel more cold then bigger children.

ALLteacher and nursery nurse like long holidays in the summer,
But you think about lunch time supervisor who need money that why they do this,
So no choice do this job.
And the little children in primary school
SPECIAL IN YORKSHIRE WHERE COLDER THEN OTHER AREAS, AND UP NORTH.
THESE ARE VERY COLD Areas and need more holiday in winter. Because we enough s holiday in summer in yorkshire and the north.

maybe your school could arrange some indoors activites for the colder weather?
