Anyone used Explore Learning?

They seem to be country wide,my dd needs help in Maths. Any expeirience?

We did it until they told me DS2 was streets ahead in maths. Had a parents eve soon after where his teacher said he was behind Shock - felt Explore were taking the national average IYKWIM rather than where he needed to be.

And it's expensive and his favourite bit was the computer playing afterwards!

Save your money or get a tutor if it's that bad.

I have a tutor but she's really unreliable,wanted something more dependable.She charges 30 for 1.5 hours reading/spelling/Maths. Did think of kumon but thought it was too full on. Thanks for feedback.

I'm a teacher, now private tutor, and to be honest haven't heard anything good about Explore except it's something for the kids to do while you get your shopping done!
It seems to be staffed by unqualified people with no idea how what they do relates to what the children are doing in school or how to help them progress. They are often students and therefore staff turnover is often high.
I would say look around for another tutor who better suits you and your daughter...
