Berkhamsted School - any opinions/experience?

We are considering Berkhamsted School, starting from the nursery into Prep.

Any experience or opinions on the quality of the school, teaching etc

Just a bump for the OP.

DH applied for a job at the senior school this year. He didn't get the job but he liked the school. Thought it was well run and professional.

However, had he got it I wasn't 100% sure I wanted to put DS into the prep. I have no idea why- just a gut feeling. I probably would have sent DS to the Beacon instead.

If you want it in the Seniors I would get them in to the prep, definitely.

It's hugely competitive for day places at 13.
