Handing holding for school decisions this week!!

We find out what school dd2 has got on Wednesday. We haven't got sibling rule as dd1 school is separate junior and infants and the infants don't want dd2 because of her SN.

To say I'm nervous about Wednesday is understatement.

Anyone else?

Hopefully our letter will be here on Saturday..............according to the receptionist at our first choice school we would have easily got in last year and probably just missed out the year before due to the number of siblings...just keeping everything crossed........very stressed!!!

another nail biter here. We're waiting for junior and infants admissions. The junior is the one most likely to throw a spanner in the works. We find out on Wednesday 5pm.

Waiting for Friday here. We moved house just before the applications needed to be in, so choices were all a little hurried - desperately hoping that our first choice works, as we have no hope of getting the second choice and third choice is a quite far away. And this is for dc1, so no sibling priority.

Didn't want her because of SN?? Did YOU want the school? If she is statemented, I don't think they can refuse you a place, I think they have to give children with statements priority. Might be neither heere nor there to you but thought I would mention.

No she doesn't have a statement, they take ages and are very hard to get. I wanted her there because it's a good school and dd1 is there but now I wouldn't touch them with barge pole! Angry

Same here, LisaD, DD will start at pre-prep but it's almost certain they won't take DS because of (non-statemented) SN. So waiting with baited breath to see if we got the state school we would like.

We're under rule 6 (close to school) so I think we have about a 20% chance.

Hello

I saw this earlier in the week and just wondered and hoped that you all got the schools you were after.

We also heard on Wednesday and didn't get our number 1 choice :(
