London child orchestras

Does anyone know of any central London child orchestras? DS is playing the violin (not grading yet) and his teacher suggested finding a child orchestra to encourage him.

We are central (Marble Arch, Bayswater, Notting Hill area).

There's a music school in Ealing that does all levels and runs ensembles. Is that too far?

Have a look at CYM. My DSD goes there (although quite reluctantly at the moment as she is now a teenager!)

Questors Young Musicians Club currently in Ealing (based at a local schools not the theatre). He is probably too young for any orchestra, but they have junior string ensemble etc and encourage the younger ones. We live in Notting Hill and go there.
