Just wondering how far you live from your childrens school and how long the walk is to get there?

My child's school is about 0.5 miles from our home so I walk 2 miles per day. Keeps me fit!

3/4 mile so 3 miles a day, last year (and possibly next year) with a nursery run thrown in it was 4.5 miles

About 2 hours probably. Its 7 miles.

Am I allowed to drive now please?!

About a five minute walk. Maybe less. I can see it from the corner.

I dont know how far but it takes me, dd(5) ds1 (3) and ds2 (in the pram) 50mins to walk....do this twice a day there and back.

Plus ds1 is at nursery in afternoon and thats a 20min walk.

By all accounts i should be a skinny minny!!!

3 miles but I dont do it often as dd qualifies for transport. Takes 45 mins to walk.

DD's school is about 5 minutes (3 if we run).
DS's school is about 30 minutes walk but he usually cycles which is 10 minutes there and 15 minutes back (guess which way the big hill is :) )

DCs school is 2 minutes to rhe infants and 3 minutes to thf juniors (different gate) :)

20mins up hill. 15mins coming home downhill. It's rural and a lovely walk. We walk 4 days a week. I find out lots about what's going on in my DS1's head on the school walk, lots of opportunity to chat.
