Gardening club at school getting started

Does anyone have any top tips to for getting a gardening club off the ground. I'm thinking along the lines of freebies really (the school is raising funds for IT equipment at the moment). We're in Leeds - if anyone has any ideas please let me know! thanks

There's some good stuff on the Learning Through Landscapes website: check this out. Grounds for Growing and Growing Clubs look most relevant to your needs, but other schemes may also be useful.

My school is getting 30 free hedging shrubs from the woodland trust. The offer is now closed but I'm sure they will do something else in the future.
