She describes a singer in a concert as having "a voice that sounded like a cross between a bullfrog and a flushing toilet"

PMSL

Miaou · 30/01/2006 23:04

She's only 8

I presume she had cribbed it from Harry Potter (tis very Rowlingesque) but she says not.

What a star - that is going to keep me laughing for days

That is superb!

hunkermunker · 30/01/2006 23:13

LOL Miaou - that's marvellous!

DS1 listened intently to some classical music the other day - had a soprano singing on it.

He frowned, then said "Mouse...eek, eek!" - PMSL!

meggmoo · 30/01/2006 23:20

HM. My ds did almost the same today!!!!!

I was listening to the radio really loud and he was laughing and signing "mouse...mouse"

Spooky!

SorenLorensen · 30/01/2006 23:21

Clever girl!

Miaou · 30/01/2006 23:23

lol at the mice

ds has just discovered how to squeal and vary the pitch - very funny to listen to (less so in church)

Yes Miaou, Ds has well and truly found his voice. Gosh is he loud.

hunkermunker · 30/01/2006 23:38

Meggmoo - what a coincidence! LOL!

Miaou · 31/01/2006 14:52

Unashamed bump to share this with the daytimers

what a clever girl. But I am not sure about letting an eight-year old listen to Andrea Bocelli miaou

singersgirl · 31/01/2006 14:54

That's marvellous and very creative! Can she imitate the voice herself?

tamum · 31/01/2006 14:55

That's fab

Miaou · 31/01/2006 15:03

So you have a high opinion of Mr B, Marina?

singersgirl - I'll have to ask her!

OP posts:
Marina · 31/01/2006 15:06

I have a very low opinion of anyone given publicity in excess of their real ability Miaou
