I love ds's school

[Aloha]

Had a meeting this morning with the Senco and ds's pre-school teacher and it was so fantastic. They are getting funding for ds to have OT via School Action Plus, they are so nice about it (I am in love with the SENCO) and they are talking about putting him on the gifted and talented register as well! Very happy. So, so pleased we moved to be near this school, and so happy we moved him from private nursery to preschool.

I feel he's gone from being 'the problem child' to being regarded as an asset to the school. Such a difference.

Jan, I've been meaning to email you. He absolutely and completely loves them and they have been miraculous in making him love jigsaws, which is brilliant for his fine motor skills. Really absolutely fantastic. Over Christmas he played with them every single day. Thank you!

That is brilliant news Aloha I love DD's school too and it has made all the difference to her progress. They have a new SENCO who is even better than the last who was great and when I met her she was so lovely I wanted to cry (and I don't do crying !)
So now you are under strict instructions to relax about all this and I look forward to lots more posts about how well he is doing.
