NOT ON HERE VERY MUCH BUT WANTED TO KNOW YOU'RE OPINIONS ON THIS SUBJECT ESPECIALLY WHEN MY DD IS STARTING IN SEP.
MY DH THINKS OUR DD IS PRIME TARGET FOR BEING PICKED ON BECAUSE SHE IS VERY CRY-BABYISH AT HOME! I'VE TOLD HIM I GET THE IMPRESSION SHE IS NOT LIKE THIS AT PRE-SCHOOL AND IS BIG FOR HER AGE ALREADY IN AGE 5 CLOTHES ONLY 4 LAST NOV! AND SHE IS VERY GROWN-UP IN HER OTHER WAYS, HER TEACHER SAID SHE IS MUCH MORE MATURE THAN MOST 4 YEARS OLDS.
THE SCHOOL WE HOPE SHE WILL GET INTO IS ONLY ONE CLASS A YEAR, DO YOU GET LESS BULLYING IN THE SMALLER SCHOOLS?
ANY COMMENTS ETC GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Stop shouting . All I would say is, why worry about something before it's even on the horizon - tell your DH if your DD was a 'target', why has it not happened in pre-school?

I'm not sure why you're worrying about this before she has even started school to be honest. DS2 is quite a cry baby, but has never had problems at school with other kids. He recently moved from a very small school (55 in total) to a large, two class entry, primary and I was worried about how he'd cope with it in many ways, but he loves his new school. If a school has a good ethos, and is firm about the standard of behaviour expected from the children I don't think it matters what size it is.

Hi Happyface. Bullying exists in all schools unfortunately and is not dependant on size. The cry-baby in her is probably saved for you - I find this with my DS - he'll cry at the drop of a hat for me, but is quite mature at school.
Please don't worry about this before she's got there! BTW even the big kids can get bullied.
