I really hope any1 can help me with Read Write Inc, they use this at my daughters school, i feel so fustrated i dont understand & cant help her i could cry, she is aged 6 & her reading is fab she is on gold level (not sure what this means) & loves to read.... But the problem is her spelling, her teacher as said they are worried as she's not using her speed sounds 2 in her spellings-she spells some words incorrectly but they can guess what they are but sometimes they are so bad they can't even guess. She as been given extra work sheets to do at home..... My problem is I'm struggling to help her with these sounds- at the mo we are doing ear & are... How do I explain the different endings between PEAR & STARE or BEAR & CARE when they sound the same ??. Any advise would be appreciated as I just feel so sad I can't help her...
