Apple to launch virtual textbooks and its effect on education

Hey,

Apple are due to launch new Educational 'Ebooks' which are hoped to produce an interactive learning experience for children and schools. This could eventually eradicate the need for traditional text books.

As parents i would love to hear your opinions on what this means to you exactly, to your children and school.

You can already get them. I am a secondary head of department and I have only 2 copies of the 'traditional' textbook and the online interactive version pupils use in class or for homework. They're not new, just apple jumping on the bandwagon.
