Does anyone know how long we can expect to wait between DD taking a scholarship exam and getting the results?

Thank you.

Hi, we're going through this as I type. DS is sitting an entrance exam this morning! The 2 schools he's entered for both have entrance exams and academic scholarships are awarded from the results of this, interviews and headteachers reports. He's also auditioning for a music scholarship at one of them next week. In both cases, offers of places with details of any scholarship awarded are sent out on 23rd February, I assume because they need to collate all the information.

Some schools will send out details with the letter offering a place but at 13+ it may be subject to achieving a specific CE/CAS result in June espeiclaly if they don't pre-test.

Thanks everyone. We'll sit tight for a couple of weeks then give them a call.

Our scholarship exams are next week and the results are sent out the last week in September. DD however has said that the "in house" pupils will pretty much know straight away how well they did and whether they met the standard for a scholarship or not, it will just be a case of waiting to know how much of a scholarship they are offered.

We have been told all scholarship applicants will be notified by mail in tbe week before february half term. Best of luck to your daughter slinky, and any other nervous parent.
